Description:
This level 3 Anatomy and Physiology course is a knowledge based qualification which will provide the student with a sound foundation to pursue a career as a complementary or beauty therapist. This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the body, incl., the organisation of the body, and the structure, function and pathologies of the skin, hair and nails. You will also learn about the structure, function and pathologies of the human body systems including, the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive.

Home study course consisting of 12 modules emailed to you individually, includes course notes and question paper for each module.

Attendance: No attendance required, this is a distant learning course.
Pre-requisites (entry level): There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to enrolling on this course.

Duration: Self-paced home study can be started at anytime and covers approx. 40-60 hours of study.

The course has a pre-requisite of Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, and you will also be required to complete the Home Study reading and questions and answers, which will need to be submitted to your tutor before the training day.
